Minutes of Meeting held on 4th September 2001

 

Those present:  Cllr. M. Turnbull Chairman

Cllr. P. A. Payne

Minutes of meeting held on 7th August 2001

 

The minutes of the meeting were agreed as being an accurate account.

Proposed:   Cllr. M. Hall

Seconded:  Cllr. S. Rollinson

Vote: Carried unanimously

 

Matters Arising

There were no matters arising.

 

Speed Limit

The speed limit of 30 mph will be throughout the village.  Cllr. M. Turnbull will liaise with Paula Danby regarding the placing of the signs.

 

Road Name

It was agreed to leave the road name as it is.  Church Road to end at the Church and Humber Lane to continue from Church.

 

Miscellaneous Correspondence

It was agreed to send for the information pack in the Revitalise your Village pamphlet.

 

Village Hall

It was proposed a cheque for £12 be raised to buy two booklets outlining the legal position regarding the lease.  The cheque to be given to Cllr. R. Newsam who will purchase the books.

Vote:  Carried unanimous

 

Any Other Business

Cllr. P. Payne will approach AMEC requesting funding to provide another litter bin in the village.

 

Planning Application

Cllr. R. Newsam declared an interest and withdrew from the meeting.

 

Outline planning permission is sought for the erection of a new building after demolition of the existing wooden bungalow.  It was agreed that the application be fully supported as this would improve the site.

Seconded:  Cllr. M. Hall

Vote: Carried unanimously

 

The meeting closed at 8.30 p.m.
