Several questions were asked regarding the possibility of having adult education classes in Skeffling 45% of respondents said they would like to see them. There was an even response to the types of classes people would support, from the given list the most popular was a local history class, 22% said they would be interested in this. Positive feedback on this topic was received at the open day with several people expressing an interest to members of the steering group. A selection of other classes people would support included computing and crafts, these achieved 17% and 14% respectively of the total responses. Over 55% of respondents preferred classes to be available in the evenings. Comments were received regarding alternative classes, these included “work related training”, “old time dancing” and “flower arranging”.
