The question was asked “how often do you use the Post Office”, the responses ranged,
from more than once a week to once a month. However, 53% of respondents stated that
they never used it.
There was a fairly even spread of facilities used at the Post Office, these included
paying bills (30%) to buying mobile top-ups (20%).
There was a good response to the question of what business activities should be encouraged
in Skeffling, the highest being a farmers market (25%). A similar amount (24%) thought
that small business enterprise in general should be supported, a further 22% of respondents
thought that the bed and breakfast trade should be encouraged.
To establish that all residents are aware of the Post Office opening times and what
services are available.
To communicate with neighbouring parishes and establish if there is a wider need
for a farmers market in the area.
To encourage any appropriate small business opportunities in the area.
