The minutes of the meeting were agreed as being an accurate account.
Proposed: Cllr. M. Hall
Seconded: Cllr. R. Newsam

Listed Building Status
The Chairman has spoken to Edward Atkinson's department. They will be sending a list of listed buildings in the area with the dates they were listed.
Karl Jeffs has been moved to Bridlington. His place has been taken by Andy Height (Tel: 01482 395583). Mr Height has told Cllr. J. F. Robinson that he has a long list of work waiting and the litter bins to be placed at the crossroads in Skeffling will be done sometime next year.
Cllr. J. F. Robinson will be meeting a representative of the Environment Agency on the 12th November to view the proposed site. As yet no date has been set for the bins to be delivered.
Holstock at Out Newton Road
Mr F. Purdon has reported to Cllr. J. F. Robinson that the Holstock at Out Newton Road is badly damaged. Following a phone call to the Highways Department this will be inspected on the 12th November by David Bailey with a view to repair.
Horse Warning Signs
Cllr. J. F. Robinson has been asked if horse warnings signs be placed in the village. Mike Peeke of the Highways Department will look into this. There was also a request for a Zebra Crossing, but this is not possible.
(On 12 November a letter was received from Mr. Peeke stating that; "arrangements had been made for Horse warning signs to be provided on both the approaches to the village, but due to a backlog of signing work there may be a delay before the signs are installed". With regard to a zebra crossing; "unfortunately, it is unlikely a crossing will be provided in the village in the foreseeable future".)
Any Other Business
Cllr. J. F. Robinson has continued to investigate the proposed 'setback' to allow flooding of agricultural land. After a brief discussion it was agreed to put this item on the next Agenda for a fuller discussion. Cllrs. M. Hall and S. Rollinson will attend the Flood Zone meeting on the 26th November.
Since the meeting a letter has been received from the Clerk of Welwick Parish Council. As they are opposed to this scheme they are curious to know if we feel the same, as a united approach may be useful.
I have written back to say this will be on the next Agenda and will put the matter before the Council.
The meeting closed at 9 p.m.
Date of next meeting: 9th December 2002
