Matters Arising

Cllr. J. F. Robinson reported that after speaking to Rachel Walker of Yorkshire Water regarding the filtration plant, she has assured him she is progressing with the list of problems we gave her.

Declaration of Interest

There were no declaration of interests.

Parish Plan

The end of project report was sent to Awards for All.  They had some queries as the original claim for money was changed.  They were satisfied with the explanation and have said we can keep the £52 left over from the grant for any future use by the Steering Group.

All work on the Parish Plan is now finished.  The Steering Group will be reconvened in the near future to see if there are any projects which can be taken forward.

Flood Defences

Cllr. M. Turnbull and Cllr. P. Payne attended a meeting of the Liaison Committee at Easington. They raised the subject of the excess flood water coming to Skeffling from Easington.  This is being  looked  into  by  BP.   There is expected to be some feedback on this at the next meeting.

We will receive minutes of the meeting. The problem of flood water from Easington to Skeffling will be raised at the next Flood Defence Group meeting.

Most of the correspondence was for information only and put in the folder for circulation among Councillors.

The meeting closed at 8.05pm.

Date of next meeting:   7th April  2009
