Planning Meeting at Hedon - 14th March
Cllr. J. F. Robinson will attend this meeting with another representative of the Council. As it is an open meeting he will pursue our complaint that our letter to the Planning Department was altered, and ask if this procedure by East Riding of Yorkshire Council should be changed. In the minutes of the Planning Meeting in question it states that the letter from Skeffling Parish Council was read out in full. This was not the case.
Cllr. M. Turnbull said the maintenance work to the playground is a priority and it was agreed that Councillors will meet at the Village Hall and list the work to be done and decide on a time to begin.
There was nothing to report regarding the sluice gate. Everything is working well.
A letter has been received from East Riding of Yorkshire Council with details of this year's Street Scene calendar. The correspondence will be given to Cllr. P. Payne to deal with, and a date set for councillors to walk the village to list any problems prior to the Street Scene visit.
There was no public speaking.
