A letter has been received from Mrs. M. Roberts thanking the Council for their donation of a gas lamp to the Church.

Declaration of Interest

Declarations of Interest were made by Cllr. R. Newsam and Cllr. J. F. Robinson in respect of Item 4 on the Agenda:  Public Gas Transporter Works.

Public Gas Transporter Works

This item was to make the Council aware of the proposed gas pipeline from Easington through Skeffling.  The maps were inspected and discussed.  There was some discussion on how it would affect the village, e.g. heavy transport movement, etc.  Further information will be received nearer the start date of the project.

A Planning Liaison Meeting will be held on Thursday, 1st February at Hedon Town Hall.  This will start at 5 pm.  It was agreed that Cllr. M. Turnbull, Cllr. S. Rollinson and Cllr. P. Payne will attend.

A letter has been received regarding the Local Paths Partnership Scheme.  The current scheme will end on 31st March 2007, and a new scheme will commence on 1st April 2007.  The new scheme will be similar to the old.  The Clerk will ring Trevor Appleton to clarify this.  The item to be put on the next agenda.

The meeting closed at 7.55 pm.

Date of next meeting:   6th February 2007
