Minutes of meeting held on 6th December 2011

The minutes were accepted as an accurate record.

Matters Arising

The Clerk has made numerous unsuccessful attempts to contact Helena Coates to query the Invoice for election expenses.  It has now been agreed that if the Clerk cannot speak to Ms Coates on the telephone she will write to her with our concerns.


Core Strategy

Cllr. M. Turnbull has responded to this matter online.  He outlined the Council's feelings and has since received a reply from East Riding of Yorkshire Council acknowledging receipt of his response.


Archive Material

Cllrs. M. Turnbull and J. F. Robinson have sorted through the archive material.  Some items will be retained by Cllr. J. F. Robinson with the other Council archive material, and the rest will be destroyed.


Declaration of Interest

There were no Declaration of Interests.


Flood Defences

Keith Crawford, an engineer with the Environment Agency, is to contact Cllr. M. Turnbull to arrange a meeting at the penstock in an effort to resolve the problems.  With regard to Set Back.  The Environment Agency will arrange a meeting at the Village Hall to discuss their proposals.  The meeting will include Skeffling and Welwick Councils.  After both Council's views have been heard, the Environment Agency will make their decision.
