Matters Arising

Wind Turbine

Cllr. J. F. Robinson has been in touch with Proven.   They suggested our turbine be used as an experimental site as a data logging turbine to test the blades.  This would be good for us as Proven would make sure the blades are kept in good order.  Cllr. J. F. Robinson will ring and ask for something in writing so that the Council could discuss the proposal.

Aerial at 7 West View

After a detailed discussion it was agreed that Cllr M. Turnbull and the Clerk write to the Planning Department of East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

Npower - Streetlight

Cllr. J. F. Robinson has phoned npower and spoken to Nick Hughes.  After outlining the problems we have had with npower and their reluctance to negotiate the disputed bill with us, Nick Hughes agreed to reduce the outstanding bill by £300.  This left us with a balance of £82.03 which we agreed to pay.  A cheque was sent immediately with an email asking for confirmation that this be the full payment up to March 2010.  Cllr. J. F. Robinson also told Nick Hughes we wanted to terminate the electric supply forthwith.  Nick Hughes said we must contact CE Electrics to do this.  We still have to pay CE Electrics and any negotiations regarding their administration charges must be done with them.  Cllr. J. F. Robinson will contact CE Electrics to ask them about the charges and disconnection of the supply.

Declaration of Interest

There were no declarations of interest.

Flood Defences

The pump station seems to be working adequately and the water levels are low.
