The minutes were accepted as an accurate record.

Proposed:   Cllr. R. Newsam

Seconded:  Cllr. M. Turnbull

Vote:  carried unanimously

Matters Arising

Cllr. M. Turnbull has tried to contact Keith Crawford of the Environment Agency, but he hasn’t returned any calls.  Consequently,  Cllr. M. Turnbull has not been able to speak to him to sort out the problems.

Declaration of Interest

Cllr. R. Newsam declared an interest in the items:  BT Planning Application and the Amended Planning Application for Cattle Holderness Limited.

BT Planning Application

Because Cllr. R. Newsam had declared an interest in this item there were insufficient Councillors present to form a quorum.  It was decided to call a Special Meeting when all Councillors could be present and a decision made.

Zurich Insurance

A cheque for £524.51p. was raised being the Insurance premium for 2012/2013.  This will be posted in the next few days.

Election Invoice

The correspondence between the Clerk and Helena Coates was discussed in full.  It was finally agreed that the full sum of £132.42p. be paid to East Riding of Yorkshire Council and a letter expressing the Council’s displeasure at having to pay for services from East Riding of Yorkshire Council which were not received.

Flood Defences

Cllr. J. F. Robinson has cleaned the leaves and detritus from the dyke in Humber Lane.

A letter has been received from the Planning Department of East Riding of Yorkshire Council regarding the amended plans for Cattle Holderness Limited.  As with the BT Application there were insufficient Councillors present to make a decision and this was deferred to the Special Meeting.  The date of the Special Meeting will be arranged in the next few days.

Public Speaking

There was no public speaking.

Meeting closed at 8.20pm

Date of next meeting:   6th March 2012
