Cllr. P. Payne proposed that Cllr. M. Turnbull be returned as Chairman.

Vote:  carried unanimously

Vice Chairman

Cllr. M. Turnbull proposed that Cllr. S. Rollinson be elected as Vice Chairman.

The minutes were agreed as an accurate account.

Chairman's Report

Cllr. M. Turnbull said there were a few items he wanted to cover.  First he thanked the Council for their hard work during the past year, and the Steering Group for their excellent production of the Parish Plan.  There have been compliments from other parishes and there has been talk of an award being made of which Skeffling will be a contender.  ERVAS, who gave us the grant of £1,600, has written to say the work on the Parish Plan is now complete.

The pipe has been laid across Mr. Meadley's field.  It was finished last year and the grant from ERYC was received.  It is hoped this will alleviate the flooding problem in the Village.

It was a very constructive year and let's hope we have another constructive year in the parish.
