Chairman's Report

This has been a very busy year for the Council.

The wind turbine is up and running.  It was officially opened by Graham Stuart MP on the 16th June 2007.  The Council also learned that it was the 1000th wind turbine sited by Proven.  To commemorate this, Proven presented the Council with a plaque which will be displayed in the Village Hall.  Since the turbine has been operational it has met all the predictions, and the Council are quite happy with that.

The meeting was closed at 7.15 p.m. and was followed by the monthly meeting.
