Yorkshire Water has put the manhole in place, and the pipes have been ordered. Mick Wilkin is currently cleaning out the dykes in preparation to laying the pipes.
New plans for the Planning Application from Mr. A. Hall for 2 West View, Chapel Lane have been received with the front porch deleted from them. These new plans have been agreed with East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
Letters have been delivered by hand advising residents of Out Newton Road and the relevant part of Main Road of the meeting to take place with the Parish Council on the 8th April at the Village Hall. Cllr. M. Turnbull has tried unsuccessfully to contact Mike Berry and Jerry Frisbee to ascertain whether they have viewed the site.
The Area Forum meeting has been postponed. Cllr. P. Payne will be advised of the new date. Cllr. R. Newsam will write to East Riding of Yorkshire Council with regard to the speed restriction problem. It seems that more HGVs will be passing through the village shortly, and will increase the traffic flow.
Declaration of Interest

Zurich have sent an Invoice to renew the Insurance Policy for this year. The Clerk will check that they have combined the two policies we received last year, and that the new policy includes the wind turbine. If this is confirmed by Zurich a cheque will be raised in the sum of £434.39 the policy effective from 14 April 2008.
The next meeting of the Steering Group will be on Monday, 7th April. Work on the draft questionnaire is progressing well, and it is hoped it will be agreed at the next meeting.
This item is still pending as more research is needed. This will be included on the May agenda.
The Environment Agency are not going to do anything regarding flood defences along the coast. A detailed booklet and questionnaire have been received and has been put in the folder. At the Environment Agency meeting they said there is a good chance that in 30/40 years the area will be flooded. At the next Regeneration meeting ideas will be put forward to create a committee of all Parishes on both sides of the estuary and approach all local MPs to lobby Parliament and relevant Agencies. As a large body there is more chance of someone listening to our concerns.
Cllr. R. Newsam brought the new notice board for the Council's approval. A cheque was raised in the sum of £200 to go Keith Fearnley.
The meeting closed at 8.10 pm
